Equipment Players Need to Provide
Tackle Football:
Each player must provide their own shoulder pads, socks (usually purchased as a team depending on team colors), helmet, pants with pads (color to be chosen by Team), mouth guard and moulded cleats or rubber-solded shoes. RYFA will provide a game jersey!
Flag Football:
Each player must provide cleats or rubber-soled shoes. RYFA will provide flags and a game jersey!
Game Jerseys
RYFA will provide each player with a game jersey. The game jersey belongs to the player and you may have the player's last name put on the back of the jersey (this is optional), at your expense.
Football Sizes
All footballs will be provided to coaches by RYFA for use in games and practices. However - if you would like to purchase your own football for use at home the size chart below can be used as a reference.
