RYFA offers a Flag Football program in the Fall for 4th-6th graders. League participants are divided into 4th-grade and 5th-6th-grade teams. The teams compete in traveling league play. Games are played in local areas such as Pine Island, Byron, Mantorville, Rochester, etc.

The purpose of the league is to allow kids to focus on developing football skills and enjoy the game of football in a non-contact environment while competing in team play against other area league teams. This program requires a volunteer coach. If an adult doesn't volunteer to coach the team (and RYFA cannot find a volunteer coach), then we will need to refund all registration fees.

The team coach will set up a day and time for practice. Practices will most likely begin in late August and league play will start in early September with games on Saturday afternoons.

The registration costs for 2025 Fall Flag Football are as follows:

• Early bird pricing until 07/17/25 - $100.00
• Registration will increase to $125 on 07/18/25. 
• Registration closes on Sunday, July 27th at 11:59pm.

RYFA forms teams based on grade for our traveling flag football league. 4th Graders are on one team, while 5th & 6th Graders play together on a team.

Registration for Fall 2025 is OPEN until August 17, 2025
