RYFA Tackle Football

Registration Information

Registration will open in June for the Fall 2019 season. Tackle Football in 2019 will be offered for 3rd - 6th Grade. 

Early-bird pricing for the Fall 2019 Tackle Football Season:
  • 3rd Grade: $100.00
  • 4th - 6th Grade:  $130.00

On July 19th, a late fee of $25.00 will be added to the registration fee. Registration closes on August 18th, 2019 - no exceptions will be made beyond that date.

Weigh-ins will be required for 4th & 5th Grade in 2019. The  weigh-in dates are as follows:
  • Tuesday July 16th, 2019 - 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday July 17th, 2019 - 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Location: RYFA SHED; for your convenience we will even have a "drive-in" weigh service to expedite the process. 
Important Dates for Fall 2019 Tackle Football:
  • Practice Begins August 12th, 2019
  • Scrimmage Day 2019 is August 24th, 2019 at the RYFA Fields
  • First Games will be Saturday, September 7th, 2019
Throughout registration use what grade you will be in for the 2019-2020 school year.
 

This registration session will allow you to register your player(s) for fall football season with RYFA.  The session will allow you to sign consents, complete contact information submit payment.  Payment options include E-check, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.  Registration will not be complete until payment is completed.  Questions regarding payment should be emailed to ryfa1958@gmail.com (included "RYFA Payment" in the subject line).

In all cases, you must register your player information online.  Registrations will be accepted up until August 18th, after that date, no registrations will be accepted.

Team Formation

Team districts (areas) will be assigned by League Directors.  Team districts shall be established after all registered players have been plotted on the league player map.  No player shall be permitted to practice until assigned to a team.  Registrations will not be accepted after August 16th.  Players that submit late registrations (after July 19th) shall be assigned to a team based on team player needs. 

Players whose parent is a Head Coach may play within their assigned resident district, or the district in which their parent is a Head Coach.  This exception will be granted by Head Coaches ONLY.

A change of address during the season does not impact a players team assignment.

Player Notification

Players will be notified  with team information (coaches contact, practice location, times, etc.)  Parents/players will be notified via e-mail or phone.

On-Line Registration Steps

1.  Create a NGIN account
2.  You must access your e-mail to click on the confirmation e-mail that is sent to you before you can continue
3.  Click on the confirmation e-mail you received from Rochester Youth Football and complete your registration

Financial Assistance

Financial Aid Applications will be accepted online until August 12th.

If you are unable to apply for financial aid online, we will have a walk-in financial aid registration during weigh-in nights on July 17th & 18th 5:30pm-8:30pm.
